Passion for the work is integral to the craft of a master painter. e create interiors in a contemporary style that are unique to each home. ‘People often think that our approach must be too expensive, but it isn’t’, says Kenneth. ‘There just aren’t many fijnschilders who are applying it yet.’
Finest detail. Beauty is in the details. All our paints are made in our workshop, using natural pigments and materials wherever possible. We work exclusively with brushes in order to impart real nuance: it is about painting from the heart.’
Lime, mineral and lime plaster techniques. Are just three of the many decorative techniques we specialise in at Artisan Painters. The subtle colours of limewash paint create incredible gradations of colour on the wall and preserve the authenticity of the home. Lime plaster is also weather-resistant, making it perfect for exterior elevations.
Marble and wood effects. Trompe l’oeil, fresco, aged effects, imitation metal, cocciopesto and French polish are some of the other techniques we offer. They are also suitable for restoring a building, instantly giving your interior more cachet and character.
Stucco, mortex, tadelakt and microtopping. Create a minimalist, sleek and stylish look for walls and are tinted using natural pigments. Once again, the soft variations of colour add beauty and character to a space.
